Set custom markup rates and holdbacks for each progress bill in your time and materials project.

Set Percentage Markup Rates

At the beginning of your project, you can set percentage markup rates on each of your 4 cost types.

For example, you might want to set a 10% markup on materials, 10% markup on subcontractors, 10% markup on inventory/rentals, and a 10% markup on other (misc.) costs. Typically, you would leave 0% markup on labor if you factored your labor markup into your chargeout rates / hourly billing rates.

Set percentage holdback rates / Progressive release of holdbacks.

For each billing period, you can set percentage holdback rates on description items in your project breakdown for each of your 5 cost types.

For example, you might want to set a 10% holdback for subcontractors on Roofing, Flooring, Painting, Plumbing, and Heating for Progress No. 2...
